These days everyone seek modern medical fix for their each and every problem. It is far better to live in such a way that you focus on methods to prevent or reduce the chances of falling ill.

Consider the saying “An ounce of prevention is certainly better than a pound of cure”.

Below are seven useful tips for leading a healthy lifestle. In addition, the same lifestyle will help you to lose weight and be in your perfect shape.

1. Get Up Early

Once again the old proverb, “Early to bed, early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.

No matter weather it makes you wealthy or not, it will certainly make you positive, energetic and healthy. After a good night’s sufficient sleep, you can get out of bed feeling fresh and alert naturally, If you can not, you are probably deprived of adequate sleep and rest your body naturally needs.

2.  Get Enough Exercise

In the past people had to use their physical body in the course of their normal work. But today, someone may get up, go to work in a car, then sit down, get up to go home in the car and after arriving at home, lead a sedentary life most of the time. In such a life, there is not any physical labor or activity involved.

According to several studies conducted on this subject, this physical inactivity or sedentary lifestyle, is one of the main reasons for a host of illnesses seen in the modern society.

If your normal work does not require to exert yourselves physically, you must add common exercises like walking, jogging, swimming or other such activities into your daily routine, for the sake of your health. A minimum of 30 minutes per day is enough to keep you on the go.

3. Ensure to Get Sufficient Sleep

Getting sound sleep is a sign of good health. It is during this period that your body overcomes the wear and tear and does the repair of organs. According to natural cycle, one should sleep in the night and be active during the day. But, some people keep the habit of spending the better part of the night in cinemas or clubs. Some others have the habit of being active at night and sleeping during the day. While you can do this, it eventually takes a toll on your health.

Alternative health practitioners believe that this kind of unnatural living is one of the contributing factors in the causation of several chronic diseases.Your body needs just enough sleep, not too much or not too little.

4.  Eat Right

This is also a simple idea. If you eat out of habit or due to social pressure at certain times of the day, even when you have no real appetite, then once again you go against the messages of the body. By doing so, your food will not digest properly and this leads to indigestion and acidity problems, which may eventually contribute to the likelihood of other more complex diseases taking root.

Having an appetite is actually a sign of good health, but if you have no appetite you should wait a bit and then eat and avoid overeating.

5.  Fast on a Regular Systematic Basis

You or any other person would complaint, if asked to work for 365 days per year without any rest, and say you must have some rest or else you will break down.

But we never think about our digestive organs which we compel to work day after day without a rest. They Often, they do give us signals that they cannot work non-stop. When we ignore those signals and still compel them to work, those organs tends to break down. That is why taking short fasts is necessary.

Occasionally, refrain from eating for one complete day. This gives a rest to your digestive organs and will help in the elimination of accumulated waste materials out of your body. Periodical fasting also allows a person to gain extra time for intellectual or spiritual pursuits. Fasting is not for hermits in a cave, but is a sensible practice that anyone can do..

6.  Take Daily Bath

Have a bath in a natural way with fresh water. The internal impurities accumulated in our body are flushed out through our skin regularly. This excreted substances mix up with dust particles and result in the clogging of skin pores. Clogged skin pores are one of  the major reasons for acne breakout and other skin problems. Bathing helps to keep the skin clean and the skin pores open. When the skin is clean, the passage for the removal of impurities, always remain open.

Moreover, taking a bath with fresh water helps to bring the circulation up to the skin. This provides freshness and activeness to the whole body and mind.

Hot water bath is not as beneficial or refreshing when compared to fresh water bath. So taking a bath daily with fresh water is important. But, in extreme cold climates, when taking a bath in fresh water is not so comfortable, the water should be heated to bring it to the temperature of the atmosphere before
