5 Natural Tips for a Healthy and Glowing Skin

 

Beauty is not just something you are born with. Looking your best is just a matter of how much time and care you are willing to spend on a day to day basis to achieve it. A personal beauty regimen is needed for that purpose. Your diet, the amount of water you drink daily, exercise etc. plays very important roles in achieving a healthy and glowing skin and look younger and beautiful. A well-nourished and hydrated body reflects it through the skin.

Below are few easy tips for an acne free healthy skin.

 


Clean Your Face:

Wash and clean your face at least once a day. Completely remove all your makeup prior to cleaning your face. If you don't properly clean your face, it can cause clogged pores and often acne. Before going to bed, wash your entire make up off to save your skin. Otherwise acne can pop up due to clogged pores.

 

Steam your face:

Steaming can be done quite easily by filling a bowl with hot water and holding your face over the bowl with a towel over your head. It will open the pores, draw out deep dirt and debris and make your skin glow. Splash your face with cold water directly after to close the pores back up. Electric steamers are available in the market today. Using it will make the process easier. Steaming your face once in a week is enough to keep your face clean and dirt free.

 

Use Natural Products:

Substitute natural products with expensive moisturizers and cleansers. Use products like aloe gel and castile soap for cleaning and moisturizing. When using organic, natural items, your skin will brighten up instantly. Application of  vitamin E on your face is good for achieving a moisturized glossy skin. Rose water is an excellent toner and adding a few drops of tea tree oil to it before applying is even more effective.

 

Use vegetables on your skin:

Vegetables have many health benefits when including in your diet. It is necessary for maintaining a healthy skin. It has been used for treating some skin conditions. Place sliced pieces of cool cucumbers or potatoes upon your closed eyes to relieve puffiness and redness. This method can be used just for cooling or relaxing your eyes. Water left from boiling cabbage, broccoli, or kale is used as a skin toner.

 

Stay Hydrated:

Drink a lot of water: A well hydrated body is the fundamental of a healthy and glowing skin. Water helps to cleanse the body by flushing out all the toxic materials accumulated due to faulty diet or lifestyle. This cleansing is highly beneficial for the skin and it looks healthy and shiny. Drinking plenty of water is good for the skin As well as general health. The amount of water one should take varies depending on a person’s body weight, climatic condition etc.  The common concept of recommended daily amount is 8 glasses a day.

Beauty always starts with feeling good about you. Recognize that improving your appearance is a process requiring some attention and effort from your side. Make sure that you get the best possible results.
